Pouring Pounds India Private Limited (“We,”, “Our,” &lduqo;Great.Cards,” or &lduqo;Us”) owns and operates the website https://great.cards (“Website,” “Our Website,” “Site”). For the purpose of providing services (the “Services” as defined below), Great.cards collects, uses, stores and shares certain information of users (“Users,” “You,” “Your”) who use the Website. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains our policies and procedures for collection, use, storage, processing, disclosure, and protection of personal information, including sensitive personal data or information, that you provide while using the Website.

Your use of and access to the Services is subject to this Policy and our Terms & Conditions. Any capitalized term used but not defined in this Policy shall have the meaning attributed to it in our Terms & Conditions.

This Policy is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules, including the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“SPDI Rules”). This Policy is also intended to be consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (and applicable rules/notifications thereunder) (“DPDP Act”).

1. DEFINITIONS

  1. Personal Information: As defined under Rule 2(1)(i) of the SPDI Rules, personal information refers to information that relates to a natural person, which, either directly or indirectly, is capable of identifying such person.
  2. Sensitive Personal Data or Information: Sensitive personal data or information refers to personal information about a person relating to:
    1. Passwords;
    2. Financial information such as bank account details or payment instrument details;
    3. Physical, physiological, and mental health conditions;
    4. Sexual orientation;
    5. Medical records and history;
    6. Biometric information;
    7. Information received under lawful contract or otherwise.
  3. Services: “Services” refers to the Website and related communication channels such as email, SMS, WhatsApp and phone calls, primarily offering discovery, comparison, recommendation and application facilitation for Financial Products such as credit cards, loans, and other services provided by financial entities (“Partners”).
  4. Website: Website refers to https://great.cards.
  5. DPDP Terms (for clarity):
    1. “Data Principal” means the individual to whom the personal data relates (i.e., You).
    2. “Data Fiduciary” means Great.cards / Pouring Pounds India Private Limited, which determines the purpose and means of processing personal data.
  6. Referrer/Affiliate: A third-party content creator, affiliate, or influencer who directs you to the Platform via a unique link.

2. COLLECTION AND HANDLING OF INFORMATION

We may collect the following categories of information:

  1. Voluntary / Optional Data (Discovery & Recommendations)
  2. When you use discovery, comparison, calculators, quizzes, or recommendation features, you may voluntarily provide:

    1. Contact data (email, phone number), where you choose to provide it;
    2. Demographic data (name, age band/date of birth, city/state), as applicable;
    3. Preference/profile data (employment type, income range, spending patterns, existing credit card details) to generate recommendations.
  3. Mandatory Data (Only if You Choose to Apply)
  4. If you choose to apply for a Financial Product via the Platform, we may collect additional application/KYC data as required by the Partner and applicable law, such as:

    1. PAN number;
    2. Date of birth;
    3. Address and contact verification details;
    4. Other information/documentation required for application processing.
  5. Automatically Collected Data (Browsing & Device)
  6. We may collect technical and usage data such as

    1. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system;
    2. Session identifiers, cookies and similar technologies;
    3. Pages visited, clicks, time spent on the Platform and related analytics;
    4. Application/event identifiers generated on the Platform, where applicable.
  7. Referral & Attribution Data
  8. If you arrive via a Referrer/Affiliate link, we may capture:

    1. Referral source identifiers contained in the URL (for example, “user_id” or equivalent parameters); and
    2. Cookies/session signals used to attribute your visit and activity for referral attribution and integrity of referral tracking.

    All information provided to us shall be classified as “Personal Information” or “Sensitive Personal Data or Information” under the SPDI Rules, where applicable.

3. USE OF INFORMATION

We may use your information for the following purposes.

  1. To provide and improve the Services;
  2. To generate recommendations and enable calculators/features based on your inputs;
  3. To facilitate your interactions with Partners and to process your application handoff where you choose to apply;
  4. To communicate with you for transactional/service purposes (including OTPs, verification, application assistance, customer support);
  5. For marketing and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law and your preferences/consents;
  6. To analyze usage patterns for product improvements;
  7. To prevent fraud, protect Platform integrity, and enforce our Terms;
  8. To comply with legal and regulatory requirements;
  9. To support referral attribution and integrity of referral tracking (including audit, dispute handling and fraud prevention).

4. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We may share your information with:

  1. Partners (Banks/NBFCs/Financial Entities)
  2. We may share information with the relevant Partner to process your application when you choose to apply. Once shared with a Partner, further processing is governed by the Partner’s privacy policy and terms.

  3. Service Providers
  4. We may share information with third-party service providers who assist us with hosting, security, analytics, communications (SMS/email/WhatsApp delivery), customer support tools, and operational services, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

  5. Legal / Regulatory Disclosures
  6. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, government request, or to protect rights, property, or safety of users, the public, or the Platform.

  7. Advertising and Analytics
  8. Where applicable, we may use analytics and advertising tools (including remarketing) in accordance with applicable law and cookie settings/controls available to you.

  9. Referrers / Affiliates
  10. We do not share your Sensitive Personal Data or Information (such as PAN, income documents, address proofs, bank account details, or credit report contents) with Referrers/Influencers for referral purposes. Referrers are not entitled to receive your personal application details. Any reporting to Referrers, if provided, is aggregated and/or anonymized under the applicable affiliate arrangement.

5. RETENTION OF DATA

We will retain your data as long as it's necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to provide the Services, or as required by applicable laws. Afterward, the data may be anonymized for analytical purposes. Logs related to referral attribution and Platform integrity may be retained for a reasonable period for audit, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and compliance.

6. USER RIGHTS

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  1. Access, review, and request correction of your personal information;
  2. Withdraw consent for processing (where processing is based on consent), subject to consequences (including inability to continue Services that require such data);
  3. Request deletion of your account and/or certain data, subject to legal/contractual retention requirements;
  4. Raise a grievance regarding data processing.

7. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  1. Maintain sessions and enable core site functionality;

We use reasonable industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including access controls and encryption where appropriate. However, no digital platform is completely secure.
